Transfering Videos from My Humax Free Sat to My Laptop?

Im recording the royal wedding on my Humax Freesat (Freeview Basically) Digitial Box, and i want to transfer it to my laptop. Rather than taking up all the memory in my humax freesat hard drive. The digital box has a female usb adaptor and so does my laptop. I found a male usb to male usb on amazon, but wondered can data transfer be possible this way? If not does anyone else know of anyways to transfer videos like this.

Any Help would Be Much Appriciated

Thank You :)

Seems standard USB flash drives (8GB/16GB are very cheap nowadays - esp from 7dayshop let alone tesco etc) will be enough.

Trying to do machine to machine copy will not readily work
both machines are expecting a Drive device... so each will be missing what they expect to see.

So copy to the flash or USB drive (1500 GB/1.5TB only about 80-90 pounds from maplin etc) and then copy off or just play directly from it with the PC.

Thanks for looking at our Royal Usb Digital information.
