i was thinking.. either a digital photo frame key ring thing. and a nice meaningful card.

i can afford them, but just don't know which one to get. and i can't get both ! what do you think. and why ?
I'm glad you're going to get her a nice card, either way. I always suspected it was BS, but now that I'm a parent, I actually *do* really love the cards my daughter makes me 
If you can find a bunch of nice photos (namely of your family/things that would matter to your mom) then get the keychain and pre-load it for her. If she's handy with technology, she can always add new ones later; if she's not, she'll appreciate having them all set up.
If you don't think you'll be able to add some nice photos in time, get her the candle this year and keep the keychain in mind as a possibility for next year. During the year, make sure you get some nice digital photos of various events
