How can i take depth of field photographs if i have a regular digital camera?
I want to do depth in field sooo badly.
But,my dad has a regular digital camera look somewhat similar to this:

how can i do depth of field with these types of camera,if they're not interchangeable lens.photo shop perhaps?
Any tricks and tips please.I'm dying to take photos like these:

I found a great video and it has helped me with my answer! I am now able to do depth of field with photoshop 
This is one of the many reasons that I despise point and shoots. Unfortunately, the small size of modern point and shoots comes at a price.
In order for the manufacturers to make the cameras smaller, they needed to reduce the size of the optics and sensor. With a smaller sensor and lens comes increased depth of field.
This is why pictures taken with fixed-focus cell phone cameras have a very wide depth of field.
With software like Photoshop you can create artificial bokeh (background blur).
If you're really dying to shoot those type of pictures (and believe me they are addictive) save up and get a cheap digital SLR. They have larger sensors and usually have take lenses developed for 35mm cameras. When you do get one of these cameras try to get a lens with the smallest maximum aperture you can find. Anything below f/2.8 will give you nice bokeh.
The good news is that digital SLRs are getting cheaper by the month, and fixed focal length lenses ("prime" lenses) are usually cheaper than their zooming counterparts and almost always have a smaller max aperture.
Until then, you can download a free trial version of Photoshop from the Adobe website (30 day trial).
