Confused about US and UK Volts?
Hey. I just purchased a Kodak EasyShare P720 digital frame in Canada. I am worried when I take it back to the UK it will not work. On the AC mains power adapter it says
INPUT 100v - 120v - 50/60 GHz
If it was designed to work in the UK it would say 120v - 240 v wouldn't it? :S
Will I need a step up or step down transformer? I am not sure how they work. Help appreciated. Thanks.
I just spoke to a Kodak Representative. They said I need a step down transformer. So I guess how it work is that the step down transformer reduces the UK 240 volts to 120volts that the AC Adapter can handle. Would this work?

The information that you received from the Kodak rep is correct. You'll need a step down transformer because you want to step from 240 volts down to 120 volts.
The one in your link would be suitable.
