HP laptop's 5-in-1 reader does not read MS Pro DUOs?
I had recently purchased a HP dv6000 (vista) laptop and found out it could not read my Memory Stick Pro Duo card when I plugged it in. However, the card reader was able to detect my other digital camera cards.
Its specification said "5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader for Secure Digital cards, MultiMedia cards, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, or xD Picture cards." But isn't a MS Pro and a MS Pro DUO basically the same thing? Even my old TOSHIBA laptop could detect such a card so I was shocked when I found out my new one couldn't.
EDIT: I forgot to mention. Yes the MS pro DUO is from my SE phone and it does come with an adapter. From what I know a MS PRO is the same size as my MS pro DUO adapter, so I have no idea why it isn't detecting it. Were you able to detect your MS pro DUO card through its adapter?
my hp dv6000 reads MS/ MS Pro but not MS Pro Duo because it's too small u'll have to use the adapter (if u have purchased it, it should come with one that adapts it into a MS) if u have it from a sonyericsson phone (like me) then I think u have the adapter, if u don't then u should buy one, nothing else can help u as far as I know
