Digital Photo Frame?
How does the digital photo frame store the pictures, is there hard drive or memory card to store it ? And how does the transition of the picture works as in changing of picture at a regular interval.?
The photo frames you can buy these days will usually have slots for memory cards from which the frame will read the pictures and scale them to fit on the display. Some of them have internal memory where the pictures are copied to so that you can have your memory card back while the frame displays the pictures.
The transition is just a small program in the picture frame that shifts one picture out and the other in with some sort of cool effect, such as sliding in from a side or dissolving from one to another. The time between pictures is a setting in te same program.
I built three digital picture frames as gifts for my folks in the last few weeks. In this case, the pictures are stored on a hard disk and added to the picture frame from one of those little USB thumb/flash drives or a CD. I built them out of old laptops and mounted the LCD panel in some custom frames.
