Is watching Avatar in 3D a great experience?
First of all, I know this question has been already brought up by someone (if not, some). This is simply my version of the question in my own words.
Won't the whole 3D thing distract the viewer even a bit? I mean, it might happen too much. I don't know, I just honestly feel that watching it in 3D may not be a good idea since the concept of things popping out while a story is being told did not really convince me much.
Your thoughts?
It is not anymore distracting than the music in a film. Music it totally over done in movies. It is used to make you feel a certain way in the film. It almost never stops. From begining to end that music plays the entire movie. If you think about the music while the movie is playing then you just can't help but notice it through the whole thing, then it just ruins the whole movie because it becomes so distracting. Think about it the next time you see a film. But somehow poeple don't even notice the music, it is the same thing. If you sit there thinking that the 3d will be distracting then it will be distracting, because you are thinking about it being distracting.
